Who is Joop van Oosterom?

In the Netherlands, they have Joop van Oostrom, a business tycoon who made his millions in telephone software development.  Harris Condis and Patrick Wolff writes about the development of chess and the support given by Joop van Oostrom in sponsoring chess events such as the NH Chess tournament and the “Rising Stars vs Experience” Tournament.
