Anuar Azlan juara liga catur serie 2 Teknikal 2018

4 Okt 2018, Kuala Lumpur - Liga catur serie 2 Teknikal 2018 telah berakhir dengan Anuar Azlan ditabal sebagai juara Liga Catur Serie 2 Teknikal 2018. Beliau telah mencapai 8 kemenangan dari dua pusingan liga catur. Kedua ialah Zuhairizan Yusof dengan 5.5 mata.

Tahniah kepada semua pemain catur yang telah mengambil bahagian liga catur ini semoga tuan-tuan terus bermain dan tingkatkan tahap permainan catur masing-masing.

Mini Chess League 2 Technical 2018

12 Sep 2018, Kuala Lumpur - The Technical section is having an internal chess league amongst its members over lunch hour as a way to promote analytical thinking and having closer staff rapport by playing over a game of chess. 

Each player represents its own divisional engineering section representing Civils, Mechanical, Electrical, Architects and Quantity Surveyors (QS). Anuar Azlan will represent the Civils, Zuhairizan Yusof for Mechanicals, Nik Ahmad Faiz for Electrical, Faiz Fisal for Architects and Yatie Seman for QS.

Over the next month or so, players will be playing a rapid chess game with a time control of 15 minutes 10 seconds plus 10 second increment per move. The mini chess league will be played as a double round robin. This means each player will play twice but with different colour pieces.

Marzaidi will be conducting the tournament over lunch hours as arbiter.
