National Age Group Chess Championships In Penang

Other Important Messages from NAG organisers:
Road Access to Dewan Sri pinang is close (to be use as go cart racing track) on sunday 9am - 11pm

The organizer expect a massive jam on Sunday morning, just like Saturday (today), around that area.
NAG participants are adviced to go early (Round 1 9AM).

You may have to walk there as road from City Bayview to Dewan Sri Pinang OR Esplanade roundabout to Dewan Sri Pinang may be closed after 9AM!

4pm to 6pm Saturday Late registration cancelled due to road had been closed. Please contact Mr. Tan Eng Seong (012-4299517) directly.

National Age Group 2010 Chess Championship, March 2010

Here is the latest news of the age group National championship to be held in March 2010, much earlier than last year when it was held in December 2009.

The 2010 National Age Group 2010 Chess Championship will be held as below-

Date - 13th - 16th  March 2010 Venue - Bilik Orkid , Dewan Sri Pinang, Pulau Pinang
Category  - 6 Ages group  in 2 categories (Boys & Girls)
Rounds - 8 rounds SWISS
Time Control: 60 min + 30 sec increment from move 1 - All moves must be recorded.
Participants are requested to bring along their I/C or B/C at all time for verification.
ENTRY FEES: 1. RM25.00 for Under 8/10/12. (Registration after closing date on 10.03.10 – RM50.00)
2. RM35.00 for Under 14/16/18 (Registration after closing date on 10.03.10 – RM70.00)

ENTRIES AFTER 10 MARCH 2010 WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE ORGANIZERS.

The winners in each category shall qualify for representation to WORLD, ASIAN, ASEAN & other Age-Group events subject to acceptance of conditions of all Malaysian Chess Federation regulations.
