20 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In Kuantan, the Persatuan Catur Daerah Kuantan and Setia Chess Centre conducted the one-day Pahang Closed Chess Tournament 2012. It was won by Kamal Arifin Wahidduddin with 6.0 points. Second, Nor Azmi b Mohd Nor with 5.5 points, third, Mohd Khair Wahidduddin with 5.5 points. Fourth, Abdul Khalid Musa with 5.0 points and fifth, Nordin b Md Yamin with 5.0 points.
