30 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur – Here is the full results of winners of the recently concluded Sabak Bernam Fest 2012 held last Sunday, 27 May 2012.
Asian Master Ahmad Fadzil Nayan won the Open Category. He scored 6.5 points from 7 rounds of rapid play. While second went to Fikri b Saleh and third went to Kamaluddin Yusof.
In the Under-12 category, first and champion was Fahih Al-Faqeh b Saleh, second Raja Bazil and third Muhammad Fatihin.
In the under-18 category was won by Laila Husna b Sahadi, second, Mohd Amirudin b Buang and third, Anish Fariha bt. Saleh.
In the Open Sabak Bernam residents category – Champion was Roslan Sulaiman, second, Ahmad Firdaus and third Abdul Rahim Rais.
Final Standing of Open Category:
Well done to all winners. In particular to the family of Saleh b Latif (aka Gilocatur blogger) as his family members including himself all went away with a winning prize. Fikri, second in open, Anis Fariha third in Under-18 and Fahim being number 1 in Under-12 and dad, Saleh with number 7 in the Sabak Bernam residents category.
