9 December 2010, Kuala Lumpur – There is some news on two Malaysian chess players in Sri Lanka and are making fantastic progress in the age-group (under-9) as part of the 6th Asian Schools Chess Championship 2010. The chess tournamen is now underway at Nagarodaya Shala, Borella, Colombo which started on the 6th to 13th December 2010.
The players are Teh De Juan and Ms Teh De Zen, both below 9 years old. After the third round of chess play, De Juan is 2.5/3 pts and De Zen is 3.0/3.0 pts!!!
