5 October 2010, Kuala Lumpur – Latest news from the organisers regarding prizes are as follows:-

1)open categories :

1st place  :Hamper + prizes + certificate +plaque

2nd place : Hamper + prizes + certificate +plaque (with different price from the 1st place )

3rd place : Hamper + prizes + certificate +plaque

4th-10th : prize+ certificate

 

2)under 18 + under 12

1st place : prizes + certificate and plaques

2nd place :prizes + certificate and plaques

3rd place : prizes + certificate and plaques

4th-10th : prize+ certificate

The National Science University (USM) of the Kubang Kerian campus in Kelantan is organising a chess tournament on the 16th October 2010 for three categories:- Open Category, Under-18 and Under-12.

If you are native of Kelantan or the east coast, here is your chance to participate in a chess tournament in your home state.
