23 October 2010, Plovdiv – In the sixth round of the European Club Cup 2010 in Bulgaria, Russian Economist-SGSEU-1 with GM Eljanov on board 1 has managed to retain leadership of the overall rankings after overcoming Mika Yerevan. Board 4 was decisive where GM Andreikin Dmitry of Economist-SGSEU-1 won the game against GM Pashikian Arman of Mika Yerevan.

Ranking After Round 6, ECC 2010. Russian team, Economist-SGSEU-1, is the outright leader after round 6. They beat Mika Yerevan of Armenia, 3.5-2.5 and are standing tall in the overall rankings. Now suddenly, Yugra of Russia is in second place, after they beat G-Team Novy Bor, 4-2. GM Jakovenko of team Yugra on board 1 and GM Rublevsky on board 4 were decisive games. The top seeded team, SOCAR Azerbaijan won over St. Petersburg, 3.5-2.5. GM Shirov playing for SOCAR on board 4 game was decisive. Shirov beat Movsesian, 1-0.
Ennis Chess Club lost again to Expik, 2-4, only this time Zulkipli Zaidan did not play.
