21 October 2010, Greece – At the World Youth Chess Championship 2010, the results show a fairly mixed first round results of the 14 players. Malaysia had 7 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses. Of the two Azman Hisham sisters, WCM Nur Nabila won her first round game but WFM Nur Najiha lost her’s to a player from China. Brother, Mohd Nabil (picture below) had first round jitters and lost to a Russian opponent of a 2343 rating.
The seven who won in the first roundwere Wong Yinn Long, Jagathees, Amier Hamzah, Zainoor Ikmal bt Mohd Noor, Puteri Rifqah Fahada bt Azhar, Camilia bt Johari and WCM Nur Nabila bt Azman Hisham.
