Young And Adult Union

29 August 2010, Kuala Lumpur – Fireyrook entered the scratch team for Merdeka Team Rapid this morning and we have had two wins in the first two rounds of play. Our team is called the Young and Adult Union chess team.

The team was paired against the Bengal Tigers on the 8th board of the third round. Two GMs are playing the top two board of the Bengal Tigers and Jax Tham was facing one on the first board. The Dutch Opening transpired during the game and somehow Jax took the white’s g-pawn. The game is still going on now.
