DATCC suprisngly drew 2-2 with 17 Chess Club with Haslinda and Yat winning on the 2nd and 4th boards.
Price Water House won 2.5-1.5 against Storm Warriors. Some of Storm Warriors team members are also participating in the GACC International Inter-Varsity Chess Championship, currently on-going at the University of Malaya. This may have affected their level of play last night.
Team AU won 3.5-0.5 against Eon Bank with Soon Wain Cheong drew, Mas playing first game for Team AU won against Nor Ilhamuddin. Aziz of Eon lost to Fairin. And Jax overcomed Prabha as Prabha failed to convert his advantage of time and position to a win.
Caviaga was impressive in demolition of pretenders X Factor 3.5-0.5 as Mok drew with Ian Udani and Edward, Abdullah and Yeap Eng Chiam winning for Caviaga. IM Lim Yee Weng was absent as he is away in Vietnam and Ian Udani played the top board.
Tan and Tan with IM Tan Liang Ann on board 1 failed to impress as they lost 4-0 to Nusa Mahkota. Captain of NMCC himself was suprised with the result and promised a big feast for the team.
Kamarul Ariffin, Rizal, Rusdi and supersub Razali all winning and Razali was totally pleased with himself as his win is second in 2 games.
