IM Mas is now two wins ahead of FM Nicholas Chan in the Malaysian Masters Final 2009 at the Dato’ Arthur Tan Chess Centre in Wilayah Complex, Kuala Lumpur on the 19th December 2009. Two more games will be played today. One at 10.30 am, the other at 3.00 pm, Sunday, 20th December 2009.
Let’s hope FM Nicholas Chan gives some fight by either winning or drawing the next two games to bring the final of the Malaysian Masters 2009 some excitement and thrillers for chess fans and enthusiasts to talk about and study at their own leisure.
Both IM Mas Hafilzulhelmi and FM Nicholas Chan are currently the top two Malaysian FIDE-rated chess players. They have each won their respective knock-out matches to reach this Malaysian Masters Final 2009.
May the more strategically prepared chess player wins!
