3rd Round Pairings, 2nd National Junior Championships 2009

In third round of the 2nd National Junior Championships 2009, on top board will be Yeap Eng Chiam, (2118) against Tan Jun Feng (1801). There are nine boards of players on the boys’ category that have the full two points after two rounds of play.

This list include National Master Evan Capel, Yeap Eng Chiam, Tan Jun Feng, Muhd Syakir Shazmeer, Sumant, Keok Kaien, See Kai Loong, Muhd Izz Saifuddin (the First Saturday Classical Chess December 2009 Champion), Noor Muhd Azlan, Ahmad Afiq, Roshan Singh, Amier Hamzah Mohd Zuhri, Wong Jianwen, Ng Han Loong and Lucas Mathew Dutton,  Nur Nabila bt. Azman Hisham (the only girl in the boys’ category) and Shaun Quake Zhun Zian.

Another small group of three players with 1.5 points that includes Muhd Hazim Mohamad, Daniel Iskandar Arif and Aron Teh Eu Wen.

In the girls’ category, looks like the top favorite, Ms Amira Shahmina bt Zulkifli is firmly in the top board with two full points and is playing Vickie Hong Wee Ki.

This group of two full points include Puteri Rafiqah bt Azhar, Fairuz Hamizah bt Ahmad Fuad, Puter Munajjah bt Azhar, WFM Nur Najihah bt. Azman Hisham, Winnie Hong Wee Ni, Pavitranayagi Jayamurthy.
