| PICA with sponsorship from Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad will be organizing a series of Rapid Chess events in the ten districts of Perak, called the Tan Sri Lee Loy Seng Perak Grand Prix (GP) Chess Championship 2010. The Grand Final of the nine GP events will be held in December 2010. GP points will be given in the Open section for the top ten on a sliding scale (i.e. Champion = 10 pts, Second = 9 pts, Third = 8 pts up to Tenth position = 1pt). The Finals will carry the same points. For a player to qualify for the GP Prize, he must play a minimum of at least 4 legs. The GP prize will be RM 500, 300 & 200 |
