18 June 2011, Kuala Lumpur – In Kuantan, Kelab Catur Setia has just completed the third series of the SCC Grand Prix Chess called Series C. The tournament format is 20 minutes plus 10 sec increment per round.
Malaysia’s top chess player, IM Mas Hafizul Helmi won with six full points from six rounds.
In second place is NM Zarul Syazwan Zullkafli, third – NWM Nurul Huda Wahiduddin and fourth- Kamal Azmi Wahiduddin.
Forty-four players participated in this event.
