22 May 2011, Kuala Lumpur – Here are the final rankings and points scored for the individual played for the Malaysian contingent in Subic Bay, Philippines that had participated in the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2011.
Highest ranked achieved is Teh De Zen, with a fourth placing in the Under-10 girls category, followed by Tan Li Ting with a sixth placing in the Under-14 girls category.

Subicchess.blogspot.com reported that The Asian Youth Chess Championship saw a total domination by India to win 10 gold medals out of a possible 12! The other two gold medals were taken by Philippines and Iran in the Under 16 Open and Under 12 Open respectively.
