The two tables on the right summarises the result of the three day chess tournament held at the Excel Chess Academy, Overseas Union Garden, Kuala Lumpur from 7 - 9 th August 2009.
The winner is Khausal Ghandar with a tournament performance of 1858 over 5 round swiss with a 45 minute per player time control.
In second place is Ahmad Firdaus M Rodzi and third is R. Subramaniam.
Since it is just the First Friday Classical Chess, there were 8 players who had registered for the tournament. As it gathers steam over the next few months, I am sure there will be more players that will register for a 45 minute time control tournament.
Kudos to Jax Tham for organising such a tournament.
