14 Aug 2018, Kuala Lumpur - In this year's Astro Merdeka Open Rapid Team Championship 2018, a hugely popular chess event, there are 94 registered teams. Meaning there will be 376 players participating in this year's team event.
Each team comprising of a maximum of four players irrespective of rated or non Fide rated.
The team event will take place on 16-17 August 2018 at MidValley CitiTel Hotel.
