Nur Najiha, Teh De Juan winners at KUSESS 2013

9 July 2013, Kuala Lumpur - In Kuala Selangor the KUSESS Chess Tournament 2013 was held over two days, 6-7 July 2013, last weekend. Nur Najiha bt Azman Hisham (pix below in yellow jacket) of Selangor won the U-18 category with 7.5 points beating 201 other players from eight states (Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, Kedah, Perak, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu). Sister Nur Nabila bt Azman Hisham came in second with a similar high score of 7.5 points.

Meanwhile Teh De Juan of Penang won with 7.5 points beating 126 other players in the U-12 age category. Only two states participated in this category, namely Selangor and Penang.
