Surprise Win By Yildiz over Hou Yifan, Kazan FIDE Women GP

12 June 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In Kazan, round 2 of the FIDE Women Grand Prix, the lowest ranked player, Yildiz Betul Cemre of Turkey worked herself to a surprise win over reigning Women World Champion, GM Hou Yifan of China.
Here is the round 2 game between Hou Yifan and Betul Cemre Yildiz (pix above) during the FIDE Women GP in Kazan, Russia played last night (11 June 2012).

After all defeats during the last months it must have been a bitter experience for Yifan to lose against a 2333 rated player. But now she seems to be recovered.
