Rojak Team grabs top spot

9 November 2011, Kuala Lumpur - Najib's Rojak Team win over Too Less Ordinary, 3-1, played last night, propels it to the top of the chess league. Najib's Rojak has 11.5 points and 7 MP is just ahead of second place, Too Less Ordinary, with a better MP score.

Renegade won the sixth table game against Bernama 4-0 with the help of young Jianwen fresh from his exploits in the World Youth Olympiad in Turkey. Renegade jumped three places to ninth position this week.

Kelantan chess team continued their winning ways by winning 3-1 against national oilers, Seahorse PETRONAS. IM MAS and Ezmi Mahmood had a hand in this win.

Nusa Mahkota made easy meat of 17Chess Club by winning 3.5-0.5. Only Syazrin of 17 Chess Club on fourth board stop Nusa Mahkota from a complete sweep with a draw.

Dato' Tan made an appearance this week for DATCC SENIORS. They drew 2-2 against oilers second team, Swordfish Petronas.
