First Round Games End in Draws

16.3.2013, Kuala Lumpur – All games drawn in Candidates Tournament in London. Peter Svidler vs Vladimir Kramnik was the first game to finish – draw in 23 moves. Levon Aronian vs Magnus Carlsen lasted 31 moves before a draw was agreed. Gelfand-Radjabov lasted 36 moves and Ivanchuk-Grischuk 44. This is clearly a waiting game.
