19 Dec 2012, Kuala Lumpur – At the National Juniors Chess Championship 2012, Mark Siew Kit-Tze has won all four rounds and is alone on 4 points. Mark Siew is the current leader in the boys’ Natonal Junior Chess Championship 2012 at the Arthur Tan Chess Center, Wilayah Complex, Kuala Lumpur.
On 3.5 points are three players comprising of Fong Yit San, Tan Jun Feng and CM Amier Hamzah b Mohd Zuhri.

In the girls section, three players are jointly in the lead with 3.5 points comprising of the WFM Nur Najiha bt Azman Hisham, Nithyalakshmi Sivanesan and Tan Li Ting. The top seed, WCM Nur Nabila bt Azman Hisham suffered defeat against WNM Tan Li Ting in the fourth round.
