1 August 2013, Kuala Lumpur – The JB District Chess Association in collaboration of Pioneer Heritage and Rakan Muda Johor Bahru are jointly organising a Merdeka Chess Tournament on the 1st September 2013, Sunday at GIANT Taman Suria, Johor Bahru.
There will be three categories comprising of the Open, Under-17 and Under-12 categories available. It will be a 7 rapid round Swiss System with 20 minutes time control. Closing date is the 30th August 2013, Friday.
