Shreyes Subramaniam Declared Tasik Damai 2012 Champion!

2 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In the one-day six round Swiss-System chess tournament at Sek. Keb. Tasik Damai, Ipoh, Perak, Shreyes Subramaniam was declared the Open Category Chess Champion 2012 with a score of 5 points. He beat 107 other open category players.

Another 103 participated in the Under-18 category and 108 players in the Under-12 category. A huge success for the organisers in terms of participation.

Kejohanan Catur Terbuka PIBG SK Tasik Damai

30 March 2012, Kuala Lumpur – A new tournamen in Ipoh Perak is being jointly organised by Classical Chess and PIBG Sekolah Kebangsaan Tasik Damai. It will be held on the 1st May 2012. There will be three categories, Open, U-12 and U-18 with a six Swiss-System Rounds.
