3 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur – At the 39th Selangor Open 2012 in Arthur Tan Chess Center last night, two players emerged as joint leaders. They are IM Rolando Nolte and Ian Udani, both Filipinos and both scored 3 full points from 3 rounds of play.
IM Rolando Nolte overcomed the young Muhd Nabil on top board, Ian Udani beat Stewart Manaog, another Filipino while Yit Ho drew against NM Kamalarifin Wahiduddin, Saprin drew against Yit San and Sumant also drew against Roshan Singh.
