19 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur – After discovering that there is a new chess magazine and a new chess weekly newsletter called Chess Evolution in the market, I have started to try out a month trial subscription of the weekly newsletter.
It does a fine job of analysing four of the best games of the past week, a puzzle section, an endgame section, a Clash of the Titans column, surprise section/study and solutions to the puzzles. You get four weeks of the newsletter for a reasonable price of 10 Euro (about RM45 – the price of one entry fee to a local tournament).
Here is a lengthy analysis of the Nakamura – Robson game of the USA Chess Championship 2012 of round 3 of a Sicilian Dragon opening.
