24 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur – At the end of the second day of team plays, Tagaytay Team takes hold of leadership with 6 wins, 1 draw, 13 Match Points and 24.0 board points. The team has no titled players but plays well above their own rating strength. They beat Team Chesskidz with two GMs on that team, 3.5-0.5 ! That is depth of chess strength! Wow!
Second is Quezon City Chess team, third, Marfori Philippines, and new kid on the block, Chess Association of India A on fourth, fifth is Chesskidz Shock Troopers and MasterMind comes back on sixth.
Meanwhile KL Fool Gone Mad is in seventh position and Chess Tigers down at eleventh position. Suddenly we see Serikandi, the all-girls Malaysian team making in-roads at 13th position. Followed closely behind CLOBA 80, Pahang Setiachess, Lemanag Ketupat Rendang Ayam, JTR and Golden Travellers from 14th to 18th position.
