31 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur - At the end of the third round, Malaysia scored an important draw 2-2 against a higher seeded team, Egypt! The board wins coming from IM Mok and IM Yee Weng. A good score for Malaysia.
Meanwhile our young ladies won 3-1 against Bolivia. The board points coming from Nur Nabila, Fong Mi Yen and Tan Li Ting. Well done team Malaysia! Malaysia Boleh!
Malaysia will meet Moldova in round 4 women’s. While the men’s team will meet Finland in round 4.
