9 November 2010, Kuala Lumpur – At the Marshall Chess Club in Greenwich Village, New York, the two-day Marshall Chess Club Championship 2010 was jointly won by GM Mark C Paragua and GM Sergey Kudrin with 7.5 points from 9 rounds of play. The winners take home USD 1,500.00. In third place was GM Alex Lenderman (pix left) with 7.0 points. Alex takes home USD 500.00. The tournament was held over the weekend, 6-7 November 2010.
There were 39 players that participated in this tournament.
