Magdalaga Luffe Wins AmBank Chess Challenge

7 September 2010, Kuala Lumpur – Magdalaga Luffe of the Philippines won the AMBank Chess Challenge after 9 rounds of play. He managed 7.5 points, the same as Kan Rupesh of India but won based on superior tie-break points. Kan Rupesh finished second, followed by WFM Le Thi Phuong Lien of Vietnam with 7.0 points and fourth place, Ravi Kumar of India and fifth goes to CM Mohd Fadli Zakaria @stonemaster of Malaysia.

CM Mohd Fadli b Zakaria played the Dutch Opening as black against Faizal Andin of Sabah and dramatically won the game!
