24th July 2013, Kuala Lumpur – The recently concluded SStwo Mall Chess Championship 2013 held last weekend, 20-21 July 2013 held in SS2 Petaling Jaya resulted in Fong Yit Ho emerging as the winner of the tournament. He scored 5 points.
Second, NM Lim Zhou Ren with 5 points, third, brother Fong Yit San (picture above). Fourth, Penangite, Loo Swee Leong and fifth, another Penangite, NM Tan Khai Boon.
Twenty seven players participated in this inaugural chess tournament held in SStwo Mall in Petaling Jaya.
