29 May 2013, Kuala Lumpur – The round four results gave some interesting upsets as lower seeded Fong Yit San won his game against top seed Yeoh Li Tian during the National Chess Closed 2013 being held in University Malaysia Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu. Two players are in the lead with a perfect score of 4.0 points, namely, Masrin Erowan of Sabah and Fong Yit San of Perak.
The diagram below shows the final position after white played 60. g3 and black resigned. White has four pawns to black’s single pawn. A huge advantage to white and well done to Fong Yit San.
