29 August 2010, Kuala Lumpur – A team captains’ briefing by En. Abdul Hamid Majid and En. Najib Wahab on the rules of the game, setting up of a seven member technical committee, in case of disputes comprising of five different participating countries.
70 teams are participating in this year’s event comprising of 4 boards per team play with maybe one reserve.
It is a nine round rapid team event played over three days from 29th August to 31st August 2010. Time control is 25 minutes per game.
