Hansen among three new leaders, BCC2013

19 April 2013, Kuala Lumpur – At the end of the seventh round of the Bangkok Chess Championship 2013 in Pattaya, Thailand, three new leaders have emerged. Among them are GM Hansen Sune Berg of Denmark who defeated GM Antonio Rogelio Jr of Philippines on top board, GM Zhao of Australia and GM Schebler Gerhard of Germany.

Meanwhile IM Mas Hafizulhelmi of Malaysia has moved up the ranks to 23rd position with five points thus far. He beat IM Bijaoui Manuel of France as black.
