Next up Egypt and Bolivia, Round 3

30 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In the third round of the 40th Chess Olympiad, Malaysia will now meet Egypt, the 37th seeded team in the Open while the women’s will meet Bolivia, the 64th seeded women’s team. Egypt has two GMs and three IMs on their team.

Last night, Malaysia overcomed Monaco 2.5-1.5 in the Open and the women’s team beat Japan 4-0 in the second round of the Olympiad. Congrats to both Malaysian teams for winning their rounds.
