21 August 2012, Kuala Lumpur - Today is the second day of rapid plays with 88 tables on active play and 176 players participating in this year's Arthur Tan Chess Festival 2012.
It is also the third day of Eid Fitri celebrations for Muslims who have just completed a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset.
This year's playing format has been changed quite a bit from classical to rapid play and due to the small numbers of each tournament, the organizers decided to combine all the players together in one playing field.
Below are the fourth round results and the top few leaders after the fourth round of play. Another four more rounds of rapid play will be held today at the Cititel MidValley Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
