Carlsen Jumps To Number 3, Biel 2012

30 July 2012, Kuala Lumpur – In Switzerland, Carlsen jumped to third position after winning the delayed round 3 chess game with Viktor Bologan of Moldova on Sunday, 29 July 2012. Wang Hao still held leadership with 13 points, second, Anish Giri with 11 points and third, hail to the World number 1 player, Magnus Carlsen with 10 points.

Carlsen beat Bologan in a Ruy Lopez opening with the black pieces.
