Vietnam Leading In Rapid Chess

20 Nov 2011, Kuala Lumpur - At the SEA Games 2011, the Standard and Rapid Chess events are on going. The Vietnamese are dominating both the men and women rapid events where Le Quang Liem of Vietnam is leading. He has scored 4.0 points from 6 rounds and IM Mas is in 6th place with 3.0 points.

In the women rapid, a Vietnamese is leading while both Nur Nabila and Tan Li Ting are floundering near the bottom of the table.

Camilia Johari and IM Jimmy Liew represent Malaysia in the Standard Chess event, though both are not doing too well. The Filipinos are doing well in this event with GM Wesley So on top of the men's Standard Chess event. Results for standard shown below.
