Lahno Draws, Tania and Vocatura Wins In Group C

25 January 2011, Kuala Lumpur – Here are three games of Group C, round 8 of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2011 in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.

The game between Lahno and Bluvshtein ended in a draw and can be viewed via the game viewer below. The Ruy Lopez opening transpired during the game.

 

Tania managed a win in the 8th round against Ivanisevic of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament of Group C.

Here is the game viewer of the leading player of Group C, Daniele Vocaturo (pix above) playing as black in round 8 against Robin Van Kampen. Vocaturo won this game.

Vocatura currently leads Group C with 6.5 points and Lahno in second place with 5.5 points. Meanwhile Tania Sachdev is in fifth place with 4.5 points behind Ivanisevic.
