4 December 2010, Kuala Lumpur – Here are some pictures of the opening ceremony showing scenes of players, officials, and photographers alike in Aralik, Turkey for the Opening of the Women’s World Chess Championship 2010 to be held from 3-25th December 2010. The winner of this championship will be crowned the new World’s Women Chess Champion 2010.

64 women chess players are vying for the title and we wish them the best of luck.
