3rd October 2010, Khanty-Mansiysk – The Closing Ceremony of the 39^th World Chess Olympiad will take place in sport complex “Arena Ugra”. It will be possible to watch the ceremony online. Winners of the 39th Chess Olympiad 2010 are as follows:

Open Category: Gold: Ukraine; Silver: Russia 1; Bronze: Israel;

Women Category: Gold: Russia 1; Silver: China; Bronze: Georgia.

40th Chess Olympiad will be hosted by Istanbul, Turkey in two years time in 2012.
