6 September 2010, Kuala Lumpur – GM Zhou Weiqi made a spectacular knight sacrifice in the 12th move, 12 Nxf7!, finally beats Vietnamese FM Nguyen Duc Hoa in the seventh round of the DAT Malaysian Open 2010.
GM Zhou jumps to top board of the 8th round and leads with 6 points from 7 rounds. Significantly, IM Mok Tze Meng also won his round by overcoming GM Laxman from India. Congrats to both players, Zhou and Mok for their wins!
