15 July 2010, Kuala Lumpur – The Asian Youth Chess Championship 2010 has just completed its last round yesterday and the final rankings of all the young Malaysian chess warriors are as follows:-

From the above table, three players have a rank of 9. These are Mohd Nabil Azman Hisham, U-16 category with 5.0 points, WCM Nur Najihah bt. Azman Hisham, G14 category with 5.5 points, and Zainoor Akmal Maisarah bt Mohd Nor, G8 category with 4.5 points.

All are ranked ninth placings in their respective categories and regarded the best rankings for the Malaysian chess contingent to the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2010 held in Beijing, China.
