DATCC Rookie Tornado Chess

DATCC will be organizing the DATCC Rookie Tornado Chess on 27 Feb (Saturday) to promote chess activities for players who are of the beginner and beginner/ intermediate level. This event is aimed to provide a chance for the lower ranked players and beginners to pit talent against players of similar strength.

THIS EVENT IS ONLY LIMITED TO THOSE WHO HAS A NATIONAL RATING OF BELOW 1400, AND THOSE WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED IN ANY CHESS EVENT IN MALAYSIA (NO NATIONAL OR FIDE RATING)

Time Control

            The time control is 25 minutes per player per game (to finish)

            7 Round Swiss System Pairing

          Champion       : RM 100         U-15 years  U-11 years

          Runner Up      : RM 80           Best Player    : RM 50  Best Player    : RM30

          Third             : RM 70           Second         : RM 30  Second         : RM 20

          Fourth           : RM 50           Third            : RM 20   Third           : RM 10

All winners will also received Medals and Certificates for the event
