Here in Malaysia, we have quite a few of chess activities over the weekend. First off is the 1st DATCC FIDE-Rated Individual Tournament 2010 being held at DATCC, 4th Floor, Wilayah Complex, Kuala Lumpur over two weekends.
Next is the Jeram Chess Rapid in Kuala Selangor area being held on Sunday, 24th January 2010. It will be a one day seven round swiss rapid chess tournament.
And if you had been in the Shah Alam area, GiLoCatur and co. have chess games at pre-selected areas in Shah Alam on Friday nights.
Again, if you would wish to watch chess games once in two weeks, there will be the Insofar Individual Rated Tournament 2010 held at the 3rd Floor, PKNS, Shah Alam, Selangor on a Friday night, too.
You may search my blog for further news of these activities or at gilocatur.blogspot.com for some.
Chess enthusiasts and keen players may head over to those places to watch or play some chess games over the weekend! Happy hunting guys!
Good posting Mr fireyrook.
ReplyDeleteHappy "hunting" eh? Or is it more appropriate happy "chessing"? :)- or happy "kibitzing" for GiLoCatur (:-
When Mr fireyrook can join us? Maybe you can book on 5th February. Insya Allah, we will have an expatriat guest player on that day ..
